Mitsukoshi also opened up the store's interior. The goal was to tempt visitors or to edify those who were too distant to enjoy the exhibits or events. Each issue provided listings for upcoming or recently concluded events, sometimes with an illustrative photograph. There were also sometimes shots of the store's retail space, laying down the groundwork for a navigational sense of familiarity.
