This pathway explores the use of space inside the latter version of Fukui's vaccination clinic. Because vaccination was a strictly sequential process, the spatial layout channeled the movements of both doctors and children (and their caregivers) so their bodies would serve the purpose of perpetuating the vaccine over time.
