Corridor

This was the first room children and caregivers entered upon arrival. They were given a number and sent to the collective waiting room via another entrance from the courtyard, then called back one by one into the corridor where receptionists took down their name, age, and gender; slotted them into one of three categories; and issued a ticket with the same information to be passed on to one of the examination rooms. The receptionists also wrote the information into a booklet used to summon children from the waiting rooms.
